Falna

Falna is an important an important railroad station on the Ahmedabad-Jaipur railroad line. The town is divided into two sections: Falna Station and Falna village. I was able to wander around this quiet little town and get some great shots of its people and scenery. In fact, I met some of the most colorful characters in this town I have been fortunate enough to run across on my trip thus far. .

Falna Jain golden temple is a temple built at Falna near the famous Jain temple Ranakpur (Rajasthan). It is the first Jain golden temple that has been built in the country by the Jain community of Falna in Rajasthan (near Ranakpur). The specialty of the temple is that about 100 kg. of gold was donated by the people of the Jain community in the local region for the adoration of temple dome and idol.
